DATABASE :: Online Comment System Example

This Online Comment System was developed for collecting document revision comments from multiple end-users into a web-enabled database. Information went directly into a FileMaker Pro database, which made for easy central information collection, sorting, searching, and reporting.
The demonstration pages show some of the typical steps and functions available within this system. In practice, the pages would not be static, but are generated as the information is either entered into or pulled from the database to be displayed on a web page. The system also included a Perl CGI to generate unique session IDs and made use of JavaScript validation on forms.
